Ute Boese grew up in East Germany and used to live in East Berlin as a student. She experienced the Fall of the Berlin Wall as well as the incredible awakening of economy, culture, history and vitality. Now she wants to share the treasures of Middle Germany with people from all over the world, who are interested in German culture, lifestyle, architecture, music, history, art, modernity, cuisine... She is living partly in Thuringia, Germany and partly in the USA (Houston, Texas).
In November 2008, the German Life Magazine in co-operation with the Zeitgeist Publishing, Inc. published a book "This Is My Story": www.germanlife.com . The story I submitted about the night of the Fall of the Berlin Wall in 1989 was included in the book. My Story for Download (PDF)
